This program is designed for helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs launch a business idea and to understand the steps to building a business that is creditready.

In this two-module interactive course, join the U.S. Small Business Administration to discuss:

Part 1:

  • Basics of business startup

  • Pitfalls to avoid

  • Talents that drive entrepreneurship

  • 10 Steps to start a business

  • How and Where to find additional small business support and educational resources

Part 2: Essentials of becoming credit-ready

• All workshops occur on Wednesdays and are from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. ET.

• In-person location is at The Stourbridge Project, 646 Park St., Honesdale, PA 18431

• The virtual sessions are not recorded; participants can ask questions live or through chat with a real time response.

• Pre-registration is required for each workshop – follow the links to register.

• Attendees receive a copy of the slide deck after the presentation.

• Receive a Certificate of Completion for taking any workshop or for taking the entire SBA Business Smart Entrepreneurship Series.
