With a Prototyping Lab subscription you have access to all that our prototyping lab offers including the Stratasys F170 3D Printer, a solvent tank for dissolving support material, the Glowforge Pro Laser Cutter and a Shopbot 18 x 24 carving machine. For finishing your prototypes the lab also includes a drill press, a buffing station, a cutting station, Dremel and assorted hand tools.
Prototyping Lab subscriptions are $37.50 a month for 24/7/365 day access to the Lab and the Coworking Space.
If applicable, a materials fee is assessed at the end of every project.

The Glowforge Pro
Laser Cutter
The most powerful and capable Glowforge machine. Cuts up to 20% faster with upgraded optics, cooling and laser power. Easy and powerful interface will have you printing in minutes. Web interface works on Mac, PC, Linux and many mobile devices (internet required). Compatible with JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, and other file formats. Drag-and-drop layout with live camera preview to position designs on the material. Design your own creations, automatically scan drawings and print without design software or choose from a catalog of premium, customizable, ready-to-print designs. All software is web based and there is a Windows laptop available in the Lab for Glowforge machine operation.
To use the Glowforge machine you must demonstrate proficiency through a verbal assessment from our resident expert or by taking one of our Glowforge classes. Classes are are held regularly throughout the year for those who need to learn how to use the machine.

Carving Machine
Is a digital fabrication powerhouse.
